XinHong zipper  R & D center  The R & D center, was established in 2004 in Yiwu city, is an earlier R & D center in city level. The main task is to serve for the technical progress of enterprises. The direction of its development is close to both the company's current and future’s: a single silk spinning system for the zipper, thread and the zipper production, manufacture of nylon and metal zippers and finishing, die-cast zinc alloy zipper, combined, plating, painting, etc. aspects of new technologies, new technology research, introduction, development; new product design, prototype development and so on. What the company research and develop is to make improving product competitiveness, energy efficiency and environmental protection as the main research topic.
   There is a design and development center, testing laboratory and an area of 400 square meters of experimental pilot sites. Including 18 full-time and part-time technical personnel, 2 senior engineers, 4 engineers, 6 assistant engineers and 6 technicians. The center owns a variety of physical, 32 chemical testing equipment and instruments, 12 zipper special equipment, 6 sets of other general-purpose equipment, 5 computers and several sets of developing software for professional use .
 Since the center established, the company invested 80 to 100 million per year as a research and development funds to support center’s work to develop new products, now having developed more than 20 items, including a provincial-level new products, nearly 10 new technologies to promote new technology items, such as variable frequency speed drive, dye-free zipper manufacturing, less nickel plating, dye concentration of self-control and so on.. And it also produced Ge sulfur emiting stoves with energy saving , condensate recovery, cooling water, water reuse and many other energy saving projects. And it completed the company's 6 great technological transformations. It not only helped the enterprise to achieve better economic efficiency, but also made contributions to social. The Centre has undertaken the the two key research projects, "Dynamic multi-wire path detection device" and "the automation management of zipper production information," this year, which are progressing well now.
    The Centre is currently have cooperation projects with several domestic scientific research organizations, and has relashion with more than 10 research institutions. The Centre would like to establish and long-term stable relations and cooperate with more research institutions.
